I'd got a small stone chip in my car's bonnet and the guy who plied his trade in the supermarket car park deemed it too small for him to do!
So a trip to Halfords to buy this grandly named Stone Chip and Scratch Repair System.
I did what it said: scratched the little bit of rust away with the special tool and then, over the next few days, proceeded to give it two coats of primer, two coats of paint and a coat of finish.
I don't know what gave me the idea no-one would notice this bit of work when I'd finished but it seems to be holding up even though it now looks as though the chip was bigger than it initially was!
