Trying to take a macro of a conventional pen nib might have been easier!
I bought this pen and stand from the Mary Rose shop in Portsmouth years ago but have never used it.
The only reason I bought it was because I have a fountain pen with a similar nib which lived in a drawer at my mum's for ever and I subsequently claimed it.
That glass 'nib' is chipped slightly at the point so I've never used that either!
Must get the ink out and try the latest one!
