Stuck at home all day waiting for a delivery - which arrived at 6.00 pm!!
So a section of our new garage roof which was our project for 2012.
The leaking flat roof needed replacing so my husband, although not a builder, for some reason decided he would do it himself with the help of a friend, who knew a little about roofing, and me as labourer!
By the time the planning permission had been received for a pitched roof the rains had set in but we did manage to get most of it done in about a week.
I am pleased to say I passed them up around 380 Double Roman roof tiles - who needs weight training!
