ok, I was sure I have commented on this one already, but guess didn't press the correct button.
Let's just say that I completely agree with Phil's first comment, don't really have much to add.
In this instance the long lens works perfectly because debth is not an issue here at all (as oppose the other image I have commented on), the result is a fantastic two dimenstional street image.

excellent street photography. typifies the poorer part of china very well.

...and a vote.

I agree with the other comments. What a great capture. I like how the barber (?) is dressed so formally in such an obviously informal situation.

Sorry for the typo: The third sentence should have started out by saying: "I love the expression on the face of the man getting a flat-top haircut..."

Great example of street photography, Kal. A slice of life, if you will. I love the expression on the face of they getting a flat-top haircut, and the casual nature of the setting, graffiti, bike, bricks, posters, and stuff on the pole. As Natisunber says, it is pure theatre. The set is perfect and the actors are doing their thing. You have turned reality into theatricality here.

Very well done.

Very nice! Like a theater scene (the customer don't look very cool : angry about you or anxious about the barber... or both!?!)

Is he an itinerant barber? The bicycle seems a clue. Great shot!
