Another incredible image, Kal. The shadow is an extension of the child, reaching out to move where she dare not go. The golden street is at once inviting and threatening. She is all alone, and God only knows what lurks within those doors. She should never be out on that street, yet the golden light is so warm and inviting it almost makes it all right. (If this was black and white, she would in the midst of a nightmare!)

I'm sorry for my too long virtual absence from your world. It's such a joy to come back to the enchanting atmosphere of your images.
This picture is perfect. I like the warm, golden light, fighting ideally with the darkness and the frail child on the edge of all that.
