Our whirlwind trip to NY and North Carolina to visit family. This is a old photo I took a photo of and then the current photo of Rose. She was a girl in New Jersey, probably about 8 years old. She had just been in this country for about 3years. She is now 96 years old. We had a great visit.
What a beautiful sunset. The grape leaves just seem to be shimmering with all the new growth and the beautiful golden light.
I think this may be the little guy that we had to recue twice in one week from ChiChi the dog. The Dog is relentless when hunting something and this little guy was squealing like crazy til we came out and got the dog in the house. Clay pots had been pulled out of a big aluminum tub that the squirrel was hiding in. They were smashed all over the patio. The little guy was just crawling further and further down and hollering for help. He seems to be growing up nicely now ready to wreak more havoc in my yard.
Photo Club trip to mission San Diego Acala. The first mission built in the USA in 1769 and one I had never visited before. Beautiful grounds and buildings with a nice but tiny museum. Great short trip with plenty to shoot.
Great fun shoot with an adorable young lady from Broadway Starz. Great family and very talented little actress and dancer.
Oh, they are sooooooo nice when they are asleep! Well, this guy is pretty nice when he is awake too, at least for Auntie.
The lounging Cat owns the place. We are just her servants and those pesty dogs are more disgusting than rats. (So sorry my furry friends, rats and dogs. You are not disgusting, really.)
Our little grown up. Finally legal to babysit, but will the baby be happy while being sat?? Maybe with some cleaning cloths and some window cleaner or furniture polish. What a deal!
Thanks Brother for all your hard work. So many details that needed attention and that I wasn't capable of or at least confident enough to complete. Many aggrevating details taken care of. Love.
Mom and Dad on the day of the reunion. About 65 of us total with several out of state and missing. We had a great time. I was determined to have a relaxing gathering that didn't have to do with a death or a wedding. Not that I am trying to say the two have anything in common. Just stress and formality. We had a ball.
Poor little wasp. He was the casuality of a hot incandescent bulb and the attacking dust bunnies. As I frantically tried to get ready for our family reunion, one of my tasks was to replace all lightbulbs with more energy efficent bulbs and to clean out all fixtures. This poor guy dropped from the ceiling when I took the cover off over the tub. Remember I said I would show you the good, bad and ugly of my life!
These swallows just keep coming. We still have a new set of babies in the nest. I have lost count on how many out of this one nest so far. Six left the last time, a few weeks ago.
