Journey from Manali to Kaza

In July 2010 I travelled by jeep from Manali in the Kullu Valley to Kaza in the Spiti Valley.

I was lucky enough to have fine weather the whole way, and the journey was one of the best experiences of my life. Ten hours of fabulous, ever changing vistas - and untold photo opportunities. For a scenery junkie like me, this was heaven.

I found this galley by accident and really enjoyed it. From my limited experience I could relate to both Montana and Death Valley. A fantastic combination. The scenery is beautiful and I was also trying to imagine what your experience was like in terms of both creature comforts during your trip (input and output). It looks like it also could be an unforgiving and dangerous place. Thanks for the experience, from a Pbase armchair warrior.
