Lake Langano was a welcome respite. It was the only place we stayed in Ethiopia that had a campsite and proper facilities. Mostly we had to camp on scraps of (if we were lucky) grass at hotels...hotels that tended to be brothels! Sometimes we would be allowed to use a the toilet and shower in a room - other times we had to share dirty squat toilets with the patrons of the hotel bar.
