Hummingbird on Lantana.
Lots of people are taken by this insect wich hovers like a hummingbird.
We have at least one kind of them in Holland .

the flower is called "baho-baho" which means bad smell/smelly in Philippine language...but i dont know about the insect..weird!!

wow! first time I saw this kind of thing.. i can compare its body to a lobster. looks trange but great photo!

Thanks Alex - my first thought was that it was a hummingbird, due to the way it moved, and the fact that it looked like it had feathers. When I got a bit closer I realised that it was definitely an insect, not a bird, but the name makes perfect sense.

Hey Serena. What a crazy looking little guy. This is a species of Hummingbird moth, I jest not, and apparently they're found over here too! Nice shot.
