Bahmani Tombs

I took a rickshaw from the fort to the Bahami Tombs, where the old kings were buried. There I met their descendant, who proudly showed me the family tree, and his place on it. Can you imagine that? Living surrounded by the imposing mausoleums of your ancestors.

these pics are really nice one.......
but i think u didnt seen the full fort of BIDAR...
there are much more amazing ancient drawings and locations .....

dear serena thank you,for years it was a retreat for me ,these tombs ,they were a place of refuge .even to this day i make a trip just to sit under the shade of the tree in front of ahmed shahs tomb.i was a cadet pilot way back in 1983,itwas then i discovered this place of soothing solitude,inmy time of sorrow when my mother passed away(i was still flying then)i would spend time pondering about life sitting under my tree .thank you for the pictures ,i toohave many of them in my computer .
