I spent just under six months in India; it really is an amazing country - terrible and wonderful all at the same time. It's got to be the most photogenic place I've ever visited. I'll definitely be back.

To Mahesha B: I think I did both, take pictures of both the nice, good stuff and the upsetting, bad stuff. I try to reflect what I see rather than censor it. I'd like to add that I love India, and can't wait to go back. All the best, Serena.

In India there is lots of good pictures ,good sceneries ,good peoples are there take .But you have did vice versa.so sad.

Fantastic.. that's all I can say. I have been to some of the places you took pictures of. You have the keen eyes to tell a story through your pictures. May that be of the history, pageantry, beauty, poverty, human tragedy, cruelty, calamity......and so on... keep up.. truly enjoyed your work....though with some sadness at times...

Fantastic snaps! They tell a story by themselves. You must really have an adventurous streak. You must also have a very good system of keeping notes while travelling and shooting. Especially for names, places etc.

It is true that you never really know what is close by until you are far away. I have never really explored India my home country, but after living in the US for a few years I feel as though I need to re-discover India.

There is one more marvalous place in India.
It " KONKAN ".....in Mhaharashtra state....Also the "ranges of Sahyadries."
Best time is Augest to March.

This is a terrific gallery. There's too much to take in on one visit, so many excellent photographs. I'll be returning again soon. There's so much fascinating material here you should consider a lecture tour when you return!
