The family business that has been in New Orleans for a century reopened for business today. The lines were around the block. Hopefully, their factory will soon be back in business to stock the freezers of the local food stores. I plan to eat a pint of raspberry ice the first day they're back on the market.
Located at Carrollton and Canal Street this location had over six feet of water in it for three weeks from the floodwaters of the canal levee breaches. That particular area is slowly coming back to life and Brocato's will give great vitality to it.
