This was my reward for a hard day at the Metairie house. This, and the fact that I found a clothing store that had opened and I bought a few pairs of shoes. All my others were ruined in the flood.
I spotted a paddlewheeler at this spot returning to New Orleans for the first time since Hurricane Katrina and thought I had some great shots but upon downloading them realized my hands were too shaky. I got one half way decent one at http://www.pbase.com/image/49931500
I realize that this is the sixth PaD I have done from this spot in September. Keeps me sane.
