Street-in-Vieux-Carre

New Orleans Vieux Carre'

The Vieux Carre is not opened to people yet and it is strange, but beautiful, to see such an empty street in the French Quarter in the middle of the day. This area was high and dry after the hurricane. The founding fathers of New Orleans knew their engineering well and built on the highest part of the City near the Mississippi River.

Happy to see that the Quarter looks untouched. It is such a beautiful part of the city
