There is a very nice history to the Vetiver in the background. My grandfather, Felix Perilloux grew vetiver on Perilloux Plantation. In 1973 the Corps of Engineers bulldozed the plantation house and the trees, gardens and anything there. When I bought the place in 1987, a cousin, Eugene LeBlanc, brought me some vetiver plants that were progeny of my grandfather's plants. I now have the same family growing once again on Perilloux Place. What a fine gentleman Eugene is.
