Night Moth by Katherine

Her garden

My daughter and I have been trying to capture a photo of the Nightmoth for years. She did it tonight and on a plant that means something special to her; it grew under her window when she was growing up and is now transplanted into her own garden.
It has a long proboscis (straw like tongue)to get the nectar from the nightblooming flowers.

Good grief this is awesome. Not only is difficult to capture this image but the quality is wonderful. She has done a great job! Looks like that tongue is just as long as its body.
