Bonnet Carre' Spillway near the Montz side

Bonnet Carre' Spillway - Louisiana

At the beginning of May, Pbaser A. J. Adams and I sat under this oak tree photographing herons and egrets. Notice the height of the water against the levee on the Montz side. This is not salt water, this is very heavy river water laden with tons of soil.
Perilloux Place is where the blue water tower is.

Very impressive. This could make a person feel pretty small and weak!

Mother nature is being very angry this year. Hopefully she will give us a much needed break. Hang in there.

So much water, and so close to Perilloux Place - are you worried Coleen?

This is quite the photo of the rising river. I do wish that soon it will return to normal.
