Bonnet Carre' Spillway near Lake Pontchartrain

Usually a dry area, the two sections of Interstate 10 sit atop the raging waters of the Mississippi River as it makes it way to Lake Pontchartrain about a half block away.

First thought was who is the fool in a boat in that torrent, but then realized it was a stump. We remember passing over here sometime in the 80's I think and seeing the current under I-10
