There is a bit of history (but, of course) to this house. It was one of the first houses that the famed architect, Hayes Town, designed in Baton Rouge. Later on in his career, he became exceedingly famous and sought after for his Louisiana style houses, made of recycled bricks and cypress with courtyards and outer buildings, nothing at all like his low ranchstyle architecture. Mr. Town died a few years ago at the age of 97, still designing houses and recycling materials.
