Congressman Jefferson is under federal indictment for several frauds involving Africa. FBI agents found $90,000 in cash in his freezer. Guess what? He is up for re-election in a few weeks.
August 29, 2016--Mayor Nagin and Congressman Jefferson are both serving time in federal prison.

Both Nagin and Jefferson are two reasons that I did not stay in New Orleans. I do so love New Orleans, but! Can't wait to see Jefferson in JAIL.
