Barber's Point Lighthouse

Classic view of the lighthouse.
The first recorded loss of a Western vessel in Hawaii occurred on October 31, 1796 when the British brig "Arthur" commanded by Captain Henry Barber,
struck a coral reef off Laeloa (now Barber's point), Oahu, and was driven into the rocks. Six of the twenty two men on board were killed.
