A Fox in Trouble

At first glance I thought it was next door's cat, but no, a poorly fox dragging it's hind quarters, was coming down the garden.
I grabbed the camera (at last I am learning) and went out to help it.
It was panting with a little whimper.
I phoned the RSPCA and they said if I could capture it they would help.
It moved to a corner of the fence and shed so I gave it some food (Minnie's) and placed crates and a cover round it.
A few hours later a girl arrived, said it was in a bad way and put it in her van. Poor thing.

I understand that they were coming from Biggleswade say 30 miles away, they need to know it will still be there.

No news. After loosing Minnie on Wednesday I didn’t want to find out that they had put the fox down as well.

You are a kindly thing, aren't you?
One question, though: surely it's down to the RSPCA to come around to capture it and then take it off for help?!
Any more news?

Oh, Chris! You are so kind to have helped this little guy! Minnie must have sent him to you, knowing you would show kindness.

Until I realised the true situation, I thought you had been extremely lucky in catching this fox with your camera. A sad story; I hope it will not suffer too much.

I hate to see animals, whether wild, or domestic, suffer. I so hope they were able to help this poor creature. :(

Is this your garden fox? Ours has taken to sunbathing in a flower bed. Chris
