Self Portraits

VERY RARELY ... do I ever take my own pictures. I added this self protrait gallery for two reasons:

1. Some people want to know who I am and what I look like. I'm a free spirited guy who loves taking pictures. I will explore and experiment with anything.

2. I'm camera shy so this effort is a struggle for me. I should be a good sport and volunteer to do what I expect other people to do for me. That's fair. This gallery is payback for all the kind models who faithfully follow my art direction without question.

Hi Stan, you should check your family tree. I believe if you go back a couple of generations you may find that you are a distant relative of Click Hamilton!

Thanks for your candor & willlingness to show yourself in similar manner as you usually do from BEHIND the camera! I empathize with the 'coffee in the morning' shot as I am a fellow coffee/caffeine-addict!

I really can relate to that camera shy thing!
I haven't been here in Pbase for long, but before I came I had only done one self portrait, though now I have a few... I found out this could be fun and I believe you found out the same :-)

Very cool idea, Stan. I followed your link from Grace's page at colorofthewind. Yeah, it's rare that we photographers turn the camera on ourselves, especially we guys. We're ugly, right? LOL!
