This gallery is a subset of photos taken on my trip to the Galapagos islands in May 2009. The wonder and natural beauty of this place and its creatures is absolutely astounding. As I sit here adding photos, I am reminded of both the insight of Charles Darwin as well as the fragile nature of ecosystems on this planet. I am truly in awe. This place has had an indelible impact on me that I shall surely carry with me all of my days. We went SCUBA diving on May 10 and 11 so the galleries on those days are a bit light...
