Monday Mystery Object #2

Bob Floyd and I started doing mystery objects on Mondays.

I haven't decided if I made this week's mystery object too easy or too hard. I suppose we'll see how the guessing goes. Yes, it's a spring. You'll have to be more specific than that. (Sorry, Gary, no "Technically Correct" award this week.)
Bonus points if anyone guesses EXACTLY what this is (meaning, you correctly name the manufacturer).

I'll go with a plastic mini stapler as made by Stanley.

I agree with Sandy
It is a stapler
Now to try to figure out Bob's image!

I think it might be the insides of a stapler Scott...wonderful, sharp detail.

My first thought was a ratchet for a ratchet strap but I am going to stick with my second thought which stapler hinge. Great job regardless of what it is.

I'm seeing a red X, but looking at the thumbnail I'd have to guess at stapler?

My guess is the inner hinge of a red swing line stapler. that isn't my stapler is it...I really don't think you should touch my stapler.

Yes, inner hinge of a stapler

Don't staple yourself ;-)

A mini catapult? Seriously... I wouldn't be surprised to find one in your posession!
