While the weather kept us from seeing the Arenal Volcano, it made the natural hot springs (officially named just, "The Springs") absolutely magical. I couldn't have spent a better evening than I did soaking in the hot mineral springs, in the fog and rain, in the rainforest. The lights created a magical glow on all the plants and in the air. I was so relaxed in the hot waters that I never wanted to leave.
