In this charmed city, the urban and the pastoral gracefully mingle in a uniquely Southern way -- that is, with gentility and a generous dollop of mystery. Shaded by live oaks, perfumed by magnolias and surrounded by historic buildings, 21 enchanting public squares beckon like secret gardens. Feasts for the eyes, balm for the soul, the vest-pocket parks serve as gathering places, serene retreats and tourist attractions all rolled into one.

I just returned froma week in Savannah, unfortunatly there during Tropical Storm Tammy. I so enjoy your site for we only saw so much from a tour bus in the pouring rain. I grew up there so it was a wonderfully nostalgic trip for me and my family. J. Ford

My wife and I visited your city in Feb 2000 and immediately in love with it. I am so pleased to have found this web site containing these wonderful pictures of Savannah, they remind us both of the stay we had wth your wonderful city.
We hope to return next year and bring our daughter Georgia.

Just so you know, your website is the reason I began to look into Savannah and the deciding factor in me moving there for college.
Congratulations. You've altered four years of my life. :D. These are gorgeous photographs and I can't WAIT to get to Savannah. (I intend to attend SCAD starting in the fall of 2006)
J. many beautiful galleries; I especially love the architecture of Savannah and really enjoyed this gallery and the gallery chowing the Sidewalk Art. Keep up the great work; you are an ambassador with a camera.
A delightful gallery, Jeff!
Your images are naturally enhanced by the subtle play of light and shadows...
