Savannah is a city rich in history, Southern charm and old-fashioned hospitality. Savannah traces its roots back to 1733, when British General James Oglethorpe first founded the city on a bluff above River Street. Today, Savannah offers world-class restaurants, Civil War forts, dozens of art galleries, fine antique shops, and much more. Savannah has one of the largest historic districts in the United States, with thousands of architecturally-significant buildings nestled under giant live oaks hung with Spanish moss. Known as The Hostess City of South, Savannah attracts visitors from across the country and around the world.
Great great pictures! Thank you for introducing us to Savannah. I hope to visit the place someday...

I cant believe you left out the fountain at forsythe park! also, it really ruins the awe of the buildings when you do not position camera or crop photo to avoid the messy look of tangled lines and boxes on the electrical poles. The best thing I can say is that at least you didnt stand in front of the statues like most tourist who like to prove that they were really there.

It's nice, but New Orleans is prettier and it has the largest number of homes/buildings on the national historic register in the United States, Washington D.C. comes in a far away second.
Your Galleries are exceptional. You have caught the feel of your town along with the climate. I feel like I have been on vacation just looking at you photos.
Thank you for sharing them.
