Desert Bloom in Box Canyon

Box Canyon, Mecca, California

Headed out to Joshua Tree to catch the illusive desert bloom, and decided to travel through Box Canyon on the way to the south
entrance of the park. So glad I did. I really like the purple and yellow colors of the flowers against the orange of the hills.

Amazing! Great composition and what a fantastic scenery with those delicate flowers against the rugged stone background. You are so lucky to live that near to all these beauties ! we are still stuck in snow with a new snow fall this morning..I'm depressed! but I'm looking forward to my September trip in the canyons.
