If there is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, the rainbow's end was certainly in Yosemite Valley on this day. Not to be too sentimental, but I do
appreciate the gift of finding myself in a special place at just the right time... for fall colors in Yosemite... for a beautiful spring bloom in Anza Borrego desert...
for a sky full of "sierra wave" clouds over Mono lake at sunrise. In spite of all the planning, it's often just luck, and I'm very grateful when it happens to me.
