I had to shoot a wedding in black and white with no flash allowed.
The church was dark. I used a D70 with a 24-85mm , 3.5-4.5 G lens
I used program mode and center weighted metering set at 6mm. This acted like a spot meter. Most exposures were at 1/45 or 1/60th at 4.5. The D70 showed little noise.
All files were processed in Photo-Elf, batch changed to black and white, , batch resized, and batch renamed.
