Sadness In The Dark

Koh Samui, Thailand

Recovered in this badly underexposed negative is my Auntie Bo Bui
who spoke of how she wished her younger brother, my Dad, would come back
and spend the rest of their lives together in the century old family house.
Sadly, my Dad passed away early this year and never made it home.

The lessons I thought I knew, but really came to appreciate this year is...
Enjoy your life, but never take it for granted. Do everything you want, while
you still can, within your limits. And above all, cherish your loved ones
and the time you have been given.

Truly awesome shot. The light is amazing and even the little imperfections look good. And such touching story behind it.
