The storm has resumed, or maybe its a new one... anyway, we're on the 23rd floor watching the rain going UP. There was a transformer down the street that got hit by lightning about 6 AM so I spent a couple hours sitting here watching it pop and flare as all the lights across the way went off and on. Those electrical folks are pretty brave to mess with that shit in a driving rainstorm with 50 mph winds.

We're gonna miss this place. It's been a crazy few days. Oh, before I forget... the Raiders won yesterday 35 to 17.
