Fly fishing in a North Carolina stream

Macon County, NC

Casting a dry fly into a beautiful little tributary of the Nantahala River in Macon County, NC. You have to stand well back from the water and cast the fly into a spot the size of a placemat, under a rhododendron bush. The fly is so small and light that it can get caught in a spider web.
