Hi flojoe, on this one i did use the sigma 105 plus a reversed canon 50mm. lens on the end.

O.K., I'm back. Last year I had an infestation of ladybugs in my bedroom (a dozen or more daily) I would carefully release each one out doors. I am so sorry that I didn't take the time to examine each one. I may be one of the few people who carries a small microscope in my purse with me. I will, in future, be more observant. Also, I forwarded this picture to one of the professors at school who ruled out a fungus. He suggested that it was an algae/moss that would require microscopic i.d.. D.

Nice shot, rudiman! I have seen several ladybugs recently with this green stuff on them as well. It appears in various places on their bodies. Lisa

Thanks!!! My guess is some kind of fungus or plant LOL. Amazed me when i saw it too.
