Hi flojoe, on this one i did use the sigma 105 *plus* a reversed canon 50mm. lens on the end.

O.K., I'm back. Last year I had an infestation of ladybugs in my bedroom (a dozen or more daily) I would carefully release each one out doors. I am so sorry that I didn't take the time to examine each one. I may be one of the few people who carries a small microscope in my purse with me. I will, in future, be more observant. Also, I forwarded this picture to one of the professors at school who ruled out a fungus. He suggested that it was an algae/moss that would require microscopic i.d.. D.

Nice shot, rudiman! I have seen several ladybugs recently with this green stuff on them as well. It appears in various places on their bodies.
