Smiling Gecko

Kona Coffee Starbucks, Kailua Kona, Hawaii

This was a gecko checking me out at a the Kona Starbucks coffee house.
They have made that building a favorite place to hang out!
I got this shot while this character was coming down an outside pilar painted a pale cream color.

The Madagascar day gecko (Phelsuma madagascariensis madagascariensis) is a diurnal subspecies of geckos.

Thanks! It is the 28-135mm IS lens, I usually keep it on my lighter D60. The image was optimized with a level adjustement (white balance was done when converting from RAW).
