Fun to see these two so closely knit. Stalwart birch, so firmly rooted, with Morse- code dots and thick-dash circularity, and gracious pine, so diminutive with flexing branches and pin-point needles of forest green. Both cast shadows on crested snow fronting some scattered branches' curvy designs.
