I have been thinking about this one for a while...a portrait of leaves that deals with ascendancy, all seeming to float upwards in a clotted creamy air, some already stirred in and practically enveloped; others with a bit of needle pine rising, golden and chestnut colored, vague outlines of stems and veins, till you reach the topmost three, sharper in form and outline, brazenly burnishing.
