4 Oct, the department conducted its annual Awards Banquet at the Community Center with firefighters, retirees and local council members and family attending the event. Mr Jim Pettyjohn from the Wichita Falls Area Fire and Police Museum was the guest speaker for the evening. Firefighter Noah Scrimpsher was honored as retiring from the volunteer fire department after 22 years of service. Firefighter Paul McBroom was named Firefighter of the Year, and Blake Stockinger was named Mascot and Lexi King was named Sweetheart. The following individuals were given the oath of office as elected officers of the department by Mayor Pro Tem Mike Tugman, Chief Rodney Ryalls, Assistant Chief Kelly Carter, Secretary/Treasurer Len Nauman and Chaplin Scot Hayter.
