A cold front came through last night. The wind blew heavy, first from the west, then very strong out of the northwest. It is still howling as I write this. Jill and I decided to stay aboard Shibumi until things calm down. Many people who live aboard their boats in the harbor do NOT have the option to stay on board because the have jobs onshore. The young couple who live on the small sailboat anchored next to us seemed unphased by the wind as they rowed ashore at first light this morning.
