Myco-heterotrophs

These plants are parasites on fungi.

This may sound rather unusual but in fact most plants are to a certain degree. Even common trees are depentent on fungi to remain healthy and all orchids depend on fungi at least the first moments of their lives.
However the plants listed here as myco-heterotrophs are fully dependent on their fungal host and produce little to no roots or chlorophyl to collect and/or produce their own nutrients.
many of these plants are therefore able to live in very dark places and have an almost ghostlike appearance
