Swedish Air Force

The Swedish Air Force always has been self-sufficient, with Saab delivering the jet aircraft. In the 1980's, the J35 Draken and J37 Viggen secured Swedish neutral airspace. In the past, the J29 Tunnan and J32 Lansen did the same with success. Foreign input was needed regarding a transport and helicopter fleet.
