Loring- based 42BW Boeing B-52G 58-0251 pictured very close to the fence at RAF Fairford, during one of the deployments that regularly took place during the Cold War. Even parked the B-52 is an impressive aircraft. The G-model was retired in the early 1990's and almost all, like this 58-0251, were scrapped at Davis-Monthan. '0251' was scrapped in 1998.
