Busy times at Gilze-Rijen, September 1994. The local 314sqdn is in the mood to fly with several F-16's, one is seen far away in the left upper corner and F-16A J-361 just came in after a flight. After the NF-5A/B, the F-16 was a big upgrade. The number of aircraft participating in daily missions decreased a lot, though. New times, budget cuts due to no enemy in the East anymore. J-361 didn't make it into the 21st century. Delivered in November 1986, it crashed on September 23rd (pilot was ok), 1999. The same date my mother celebrated her 60th birthday, btw.
