The Ugly Field - Revisited

A return to a vacant, littered "ugly field" between motels and the interstate in Lost Hills, California.
My first visit had been in March 2005, where I found, to my surprise, some pleasant photos in this barren and neglected area.

A return, this time in October, looked even less promising; not only was the field brown, half of it was burnt from a vegetation fire.
I almost didn't bother (it looked hopeless), but a morning walk produced a few photos that I thought were OK, given the circumstances.
