This small group of runners and one skier connected to the Iditarod Trail outside Shell Lake and pulled sleds through the Alaska Range to Rohn, approximately 90 miles in three days. Not part of a race, this adventure route included the following Iditarod check points and places: Finger Lake (Winterlake Lodge), Happy River Steps, Puntilla Lake (Rainy Pass Lodge), Rainy Pass Cabin, Rainy Pass, Dalzall Gorge and the Rohn Roadhouse.
