The Horologion of Andronicos (the Tower of the Winds), 1st century BC. In ancient times, there were sundials on the exterior walls, an elaborate water clock inside, and a bronze weather vane on the roof. Each of the eight sides contains an image representing the wind god for that direction. The building sits on the edge of the Roman Agora.
