My maiden name was Sonia Ball I got married to a sergant and my sons are born in France one at Verdun St Catherine clinic 1955 and the second at the hopital at Maginot 1956,I do return to Verdun often ,my brother lives at Belle-Ville now .

I was born in Verdun in 1955. How wonderful to see these beautiful pictures. My mom and dad will enjoy them I'm sure. Dad was career army and you can't have a conversation without some army stories. Thank you for posting them.

I am a native of Verdun. I worked as a local national for 10 years. First as a telephone operator at Maginot Caserne (1957-63), then as Laboratory secretary 56th general Hospital (1963-67). I really loved all the pictures from Verdun. Brought back all kind of memories!
