I was in Verdun 1959 to 1960,my husband was stationed in magino in US Army. We lived in Hotel De Verdun also 8 Rue DePrets ( I think ). Loved seeing these pictures. My daughter was born in Army hospital in Etain.

Hellow all: Arrived Verdun in 1959, first worked in Signal Section
(teletype) Maginot Caserne, transferred to 4th Log Command under LtCol
Charles Schauers. Year later, got lucky and transferred to SHAPE Paris.
Can anyone tell me name of the hotel fairly close to Maginot where dependents
and sponsor stayed until housing became available? ( we lived for a time
in Manheulles, then got into ex-AirForce new housing at Etain.
