When God called Abraham out of his country to a land God would give him, God gave him a promise not only fro him...not only for the Jews, God chosen people...but a promise that would affect every other nation on teh earth forever. God said:
I will bless you and make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curse you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed. ( GENESIS 12:2-3- Bible).
In one of Psalms of King David we read:
If I forget You, O Jerusalem, Let my right hand forget its skill! If I do not remember you,Let my tongue cling to the roof of my mouth-if I do not exalt Jerusalem above my cheif joy..
Hezekiah , after settling the water crisis, aroused the citizens of Jerusalem,saying:
Be strong and courages;do not be afraid nor dismayed before the king of Assyria,not before all the multitude that is with him...With him is an arm of flesh;but with us is the Lord our God, to help us and fight our battles.(2 CHRONICLES 32:7-8-From Bible).
